Description

This is an exquisite early piece of the most beautiful blue colored Bohemian glass. The color is exquisite. It is a perfume bottle from the Victorian period mid 19th century. It is very heavy and it is etched with silver gilding on outside. There is minor chipping/nibbles in the glass on some edges as expected with an early rare piece. Not able to take enough photos to show every part, so buyer must accept there is some chipping. Please view all 12 photos very carefully. This is a piece that is museum quality in the very distinctive color, rarity and design but note there is some nibbles in the glass, small chips from age. If you want additional photos can send. Carved glass just amazing. I note the edge of the bottle rim dips a bit so not evenly round, I think this was the way it was made, by hand, just so early. Would date it to about 1840-1860's but could be earlier. Color is glorious in the light. Top rim is 3 inches across. Wide base is 4 inches approx. For a grand dressing table.
