Description

For consideration This antique 1800's Stoneware jug from the X Bazin's (Xavier Bazin) Perfumery Philadelphia PA. Located at 17 S. 5th street. The cream and brown jug is stamped underglaze.- X. Bazin's Old Holland Cologne Xavier Bazin was a successful perfumer of the times, and operated as sole proprietor 1850-1875 when in partnership the name changed to X Bazin & co. This antique jug has a larger chip on the side edge of the neck, and sh ows some crazing, marks and scuffs, consistent with age. The jug is empty, the cork is worn chipped. The small jug holds a lot of history, e njoy adding this rare find to your collection. Measures 6 1/4" tall is 12 3/4" around the body and 3" across the base Shipping is included in the BIN price.
