Rare Ricksecker New York Perfume Flask Bottle Porcelain Painted Floral Antique Description and Item Information Up for sale, with a low opening bid and no reserve, is this antique Ricksecker Floral Chimes perfume bottle. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This flat porcelain flask hangs from a short cord. It has no stopper. The porcelain has multicolored, hand painted decoration. The porcelain bottle, excluding the hanging cord, measures approximately 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/8 inches by 1/2 inch. Unpacked, this item weighs 1.0 ounce. This would be a rare addition to a collection of antique perfume bottles. Identification This bottle retains its original paper label on one side, which says, "RICKSECKER'S FLORAL CHIMES PERFUME NEW YORK." On the opposite side, it has a hand painted marking, "RICKSECKER, NEW YORK." This piece is antique, and the exact age is not known. Condition The bottle looks good overall with light wear. There is no lid. It has no cracks. At first glance, a very small, indented area on the rim looks like a chip, but the gold paint is applied over it; please see photos.
