Description

This is a wonderful quality very scarce, S Mordan & Co Late Edwardian 1909 Perfume Bottle / Holder, finished in a rare Shape! It is crafted from Solid Sterling Silver with a light gilt / gold tone finish inside. Being fully hallmarked with 14 S.M&Co Rd545552 and assayed in Chester in 1909. It has a very beautiful finished and I have never had a perfume bottle holder this shape before! Being offered for sale at a very low starting price and No Reserve! A true collector’s piece of antique silver, in good condition for its age! The photographs simply do no justice to this superb item of Edwardian craftsmanship. The details are:- Condition:-Very good for its age (115 years old), being in need of a light clean (if at all) and having a few tiny marks which consummate with its age and only mention for accuracy. Please see the photos for more detail. Weight:-25.3grams in total. Size:-63mm by 20.6mm by 18.5mm (not including the suspension chain). Material:-Sterling Silver. Marks:-Fully hallmarked.
