Due to information received from a knowledgeable collector, we are revising this listing to accurately identify this wonderful perfume vanity bottle. We originally believed it to be French, however, it is Mount Washington as identified in Jackie North's First Edition Collector's Book on Perfumes . This is truly a beautiful piece which is artistically hand painted in lovely florals on satin glass and offered at unreserved auction. The applied gold gilt on both stopper and neck of the bottle are highly elaborate filigreed metal, possibly applied spelter which makes this bottle above and beyond what you may typically find on such a piece. The item measures 8" high and 5 1/4" in diameter. The bottle with no restoration is in exceptionally fine condition for it's age and use with no cracks, chips or visible damage. There are numbers painted in gold on the bottom which identify the product and the artist that constructed and painted the bottle.
